OneStream Senior Consultant – Finance Transformation

Job Summary

We are hiring a OneStream Senior Consultant with hands-on experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting OneStream solutions across financial close, consolidation, and financial planning and analysis processes.

The role requires strong technical expertise, finance process knowledge, and the ability to independently manage deliverables, interact with stakeholders, and guide junior team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design and implement OneStream EPM solutions based on business requirements.
- Configure metadata, business rules, forms, cube views, workflows, and reports.
- Develop custom rules and automation for financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and cash flow processes.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A; solutions.
- Manage requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Perform data reconciliation, troubleshoot application issues, and deliver enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, test plans, and user training materials.
- Coordinate with finance, technology, and business stakeholders.
- Lead technical workstreams and mentor junior consultants.





Mandatory Skills

- 6–10 years of experience in EPM implementation projects.
- 3–4 years of hands-on OneStream implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, and FP&A.;
- Experience with OneStream metadata, business rules, forms, cube views, workflows, and reporting.
- Knowledge of VB.NET and/or Python.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Exposure to SaaS and PaaS environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Valuable to Have

- End-to-end OneStream implementation experience.
- Experience in sales forecasting, workforce planning, or financial planning models.
- Knowledge of OneStream MarketPlace solutions, including People Planning and Capex Planning.
- Experience with advanced business rules, custom consolidations, and financial process automation.
- Experience in client workshops, solution documentation, and stakeholder management.

Educational Qualifications

CA, BE, BTech, MCA, MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have hands-on OneStream implementation experience and a strong understanding of finance transformation processes. Candidates with only general finance experience or unrelated EPM tool exposure may not meet the requirements.
