Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Precast Modeler with 2–5 years of experience in precast

concrete modelling, detailing, and drawing preparation. The candidate should have a

strong understanding of precast structural elements, RCC detailing, and BIM

workflows, along with proficiency in relevant CAD and 3D modelling software.

Key Responsibilities

⁠ ⁠Develop 3D BIM models for precast concrete structures, including beams,

columns, slabs, wall panels, stairs, and other precast elements.

⁠ ⁠Prepare precast shop drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and

connection details.

⁠ ⁠Model precast components, joints, lifting inserts, embedded plates, and

connection systems as per project requirements.

⁠ ⁠Prepare RCC structural drawings and reinforcement details wherever required.

⁠ ⁠Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and engineering

markups.

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with structural engineers, design teams, and other BIM modelers to

resolve modelling and detailing issues.

⁠ ⁠Perform model reviews and clash detection to ensure accuracy and

coordination.

⁠ ⁠Prepare material take-offs, element schedules, and piece-marking

documentation as required.





⁠ ⁠Revise models and drawings based on engineering comments and project

updates.

⁠ ⁠Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards, quality

requirements, and applicable codes.

Required Technical Skills

⁠ ⁠Precast Concrete Modelling: Strong understanding of precast elements,

connections, joints, fabrication, and erection requirements.

⁠ ⁠Tekla Structures: Experience in 3D precast modelling, component detailing,

and drawing generation.

⁠ ⁠Revit: Knowledge of structural modelling, BIM documentation, and model

coordination.

⁠ ⁠AutoCAD: Proficiency in 2D drafting, detailing, and drawing modifications.

⁠ ⁠RCC Detailing: Understanding of reinforced concrete structures and

reinforcement drawings.

⁠ ⁠BIM Coordination: Knowledge of model checking, clash detetion, and

coordination workflows.

Eligibility Criteria

•⁠ ⁠2–5 years of relevant experience in precast concrete modelling and detailing.

•⁠ ⁠Practical experience in Tekla Structures or another relevant precast modelling

platform.

•⁠ ⁠Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and RCC structural drawings.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

•⁠ ⁠Positive attention to detail, coordination skills, and problem-solving ability.
