Job Description – Line Quality Inspector (Plastic Injection Moulding)

Job Title: Line Quality Inspector
Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding / Plastic Components Manufacturing
Location: Thirumudivakkam, Chennai
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

- Inspect plastic injection moulded components during production.
- Perform in-process and line quality inspections.
- Identify defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, cracks, warpage and dimensional variations.
- Check components as per quality standards and approved samples.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and gauges.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Segregate rejected parts and inform the production team about quality issues.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to reduce defects.
- Follow quality procedures and maintain inspection standards.

Requirements:

- Experience in plastic injection moulding parts inspection is preferred.




- Knowledge of visual inspection, defect identification and basic measuring instruments.
- Candidates with experience as Line Quality Inspector, Quality Inspector, IPQC Inspector or QC Inspector are preferred.
- ITI / Diploma / Any relevant qualification preferred.
- Freshers with basic quality inspection knowledge may also apply, depending on suitability.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
