ADAS High Precision LLP is looking for an experienced CMM Operator & Programmer with hands-on expertise in Cimtrix Daisy-686 Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
The candidate will be responsible for high-accuracy dimensional inspection of precision machined components, ensuring compliance with customer drawings, GD&T;, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
CMM Programming & Operation
- Operate and program Cimtrix Daisy-686 CMM
- Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process, and final inspection
- Verify complex geometries including profiles, bores, threads, and critical tolerances
Measurement & Documentation
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements
- Generate dimensional reports and inspection documentation
- Maintain calibration and inspection records
- Support PPAP / customer documentation if required
Quality Control
- Identify non-conforming parts and raise NCR reports
- Coordinate corrective actions with production and engineering teams
- Support internal and external quality audits
- Ensure compliance with ISO / API standards (if applicable)
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years experience in CMM programming & operation
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Cimtrix Daisy-686 CMM
- Strong understanding of GD&T; and precision measurement
- Experience in CNC machining industry
Preferred Skills
- Experience in oilfield components and API thread inspection
- Knowledge of aerospace tight tolerance inspection
- Ability to read 3D CAD models
- Familiarity with additional inspection tools (Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Surface Tester)
