Job Title: Accountant (Tally, GST & Statutory Compliance)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary: ₹14,000 - ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)

Experience: Minimum 1 year of accounting experience

About the Role

Challenger Crop Care Pvt Ltd is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain books of accounts and handle GST and statutory compliance (PF, ESI and Qualified Tax). The ideal candidate is accurate, organized and has hands-on experience in Tally.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts and day-to-day accounting entries in Tally
- Prepare and post accounting vouchers (sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and contra)
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform GST reconciliation
- Prepare and file monthly PF returns (ECR) and ESI returns on time
- Calculate and remit Professional Tax and file PT returns
- Maintain employee PF, ESI and PT records and handle related challans and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and party ledgers
- Handle sales and purchase invoices,



e-way bills and supporting documents
- Maintain records of expenses, payables and receivables
- Assist with monthly closing and with preparing reports for management and auditors
- Keep all accounting and compliance records accurate and up to date

Requirements

- Tally experience is mandatory (ERP 9 / Prime)
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the industry
- Good knowledge of GST return filing and compliance
- Working knowledge of PF, ESI and Professional Tax filing on the respective portals
- Knowledge of voucher entry and books maintenance
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) preferred
- Good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
