JOB DESCRIPTION: COST ESTIMATION & MARKETING ENGINEER (MACHINE SHOP) Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and technical-minded professional with 2 years of experience in Marketing/Sales/Estimation. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of precision machined components, the ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings, and experience in preparing accurate Cost Estimations and Quotations in response to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation & Quotation: * Drawing Study: Thoroughly read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, GD&T; symbols, and component specifications provided by clients. * Cost Calculations: Calculate raw material costs, machining cycle times, and operational costs across various processes (such as CNC, VMC, Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding, etc.). * Special Process & Logistics Estimation: Estimate costs for external processes like Heat Treatment, Surface Finishing/Plating/Coating, and logistics/outsourcing charges. * Quotation Preparation: Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely commercial quotations and proposal documents for submission to clients.

2. Marketing & Client Management: * RFQ Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with existing and prospective clients regarding submitted RFQs and queries. * Commercial & Technical Negotiation: Engage in commercial and technical discussions with clients to convert inquiries into active purchase orders. * Business Development: Identify new client opportunities and market segments to support company business growth.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination:



* Department Alignment: Coordinate with Production, Operations, and Purchase teams to verify current raw material prices, machine availability, and standard operation times. * Order Handover: Ensure smooth transition and handover of newly secured Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders to the Production team with complete technical specifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills: * Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering. * Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing, Technical Sales, or Cost Estimation (experience in a Machine Shop or Precision Component Manufacturing industry is highly preferred). Technical & Professional Skills: * Proficiency in reading 2D/3D mechanical drawings and understanding GD&T; symbols. * Fundamental knowledge of machining operations (CNC, VMC, Lathe, Milling, etc.) and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, cost sheet formulation, and data management). * Solid interpersonal and communication skills (English and local language). * Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and client handling abilities developed from previous marketing/sales experience.

Job & Compensation Details: * Salary: Based on experience and industry standards [e.g., ₹2,40,000 – ₹3,60,000 CTC per annum + Incentives] * Shift: General Shift Feel free to adjust the location, salary range, or specific machine capabilities according to your company's exact requirements.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
