Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
- Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties as assigned and according to competency.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
- Check the availability and functioning of OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments in coordination with the CSSD team.
- Monitor patient safety and assist with patient positioning and transfer.
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Perform surgical instrument, needle, and sponge counts in accordance with hospital protocols.




- Monitor and document relevant patient care activities and surgical records accurately.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the OT is cleaned, prepared, and ready for subsequent procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Operation Theatre (OT) is preferred.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
