Job Overview

CADOPILAR Software Private Limited is seeking a technically proficient and customer-focused Technical Executive – CAD Support to provide technical assistance to customers using our 2D/3D CAD software. The role involves troubleshooting CAD-related issues, assisting with software installation and licensing, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting customers transitioning from AutoCAD and other CAD platforms to CADOPILAR.

The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, sound technical troubleshooting skills, and excellent English communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical support to customers and internal teams for CAD software-related queries.
- Assist customers with software installation, licensing, activation, configuration, and usage-related issues.
- Guide customers in transitioning from AutoCAD and other CAD platforms to CADOPILAR.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical assistance during customer trials and software evaluations.
- Troubleshoot 2D drafting and 3D modelling issues and provide clear, effective solutions.
- Explain CAD commands, tools, and workflows to customers and assist them in using the software efficiently.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales process.
- Identify and document functional differences between CADOPILAR, AutoCAD, and other CAD platforms.
- Reproduce, document, and report software bugs or technical issues to the development and QA teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and user instructions as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil,



Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably covering both 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Good understanding of CAD commands, layers, blocks, dimensions, layouts, plotting, and drawing management.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good customer-handling skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to new CAD software and technologies.

Preference: Candidates educated in an English-medium school will be preferred.

Preferred Skills / Added Advantage

- Knowledge of DWG/DXF file formats and CAD interoperability.
- Familiarity with AutoLISP, APIs, or CAD customization.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other professional CAD software.
- Previous experience in technical support, product demonstrations, software implementation, or customer training.
