About the Company

COGIPRO DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION is engaged in construction and civil engineering projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial transactions, project accounts, statutory compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain project-wise accounts for construction and civil engineering projects.
- Handle contractor bills, subcontractor payments, labour payments, and vendor accounts.
- Record and verify purchase bills for construction materials, equipment, and other expenses.
- Monitor project expenses, budgets, advances, and outstanding payments.
- Manage GST returns, TDS deductions, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Handle bank reconciliation, cash and bank transactions, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accounts for machinery, vehicles, fuel, repairs, and site expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, expense reports, and project-wise cost reports.




- Reconcile supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with project teams, management, auditors, and external consultants.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of accounting activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

- B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in a construction company or civil engineering firm is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST, and TDS.
- Experience handling contractor bills, subcontractor accounts, and project expenses.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with practical experience in construction accounting, project cost monitoring, vendor management, and statutory compliance will be preferred.
