Job Summary

Flash Point Controls is seeking a technically skilled Electrical & Fire Protection Technician/Engineer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and fire protection systems at industrial and commercial project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Perform electrical wiring, cable laying, cable glanding, termination, and control panel wiring.
- Assist in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment and control circuits.
- Identify electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting and rectification.
- Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Handle smoke detectors, heat detectors, Manual Call Points (MCPs), alarm hooters, and fire alarm control panels.
- Perform functional testing, fault diagnosis, and system restoration.
- Fire Protection System Support
- Support the electrical interfacing and testing of fire pumps, control panels, and associated fire protection equipment.
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire hydrant, sprinkler, HVWS, MVWS, and fire suppression systems as required.
- Support system testing and commissioning activities at project sites.
- Project Execution & Site Coordination
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site representatives.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and project requirements.




- Preventive Maintenance & AMC
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of installed systems.
- Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and perform corrective maintenance.
- Support Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) visits and prepare service reports.
- Documentation & Safety
- Maintain daily work reports, inspection records, testing reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Identify material requirements and coordinate with the project team for site availability.
- Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and applicable technical standards.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of electrical installation, wiring, and maintenance.
- Understanding of fire alarm and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing instruments and fault-finding techniques.
- Valuable site coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to industrial and commercial project sites.

Educational Qualification: ITI in Electrician trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering may also apply. Relevant experience in fire alarm systems, electrical installation, testing and commissioning, and industrial maintenance will be preferred.

Preferred Experience: 1–3 years in electrical works, fire protection systems, or MEP project execution.

Pay: ₹8,800.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
