Job Overview:

We are seeking a Purchase Executive with a strong background in procurement to manage vendor sourcing, negotiation, and timely material supply for our projects and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, good vendor relationships, and on-time delivery of materials.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Receive and review purchase requisitions/indents from departments, and confirm specifications and quantities.





Identify and develop vendors, and obtain quotations from multiple suppliers.

Prepare comparative statements and negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Release Purchase Orders (POs) after the required approvals.

Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery, and resolve delays, shortages, or quality issues.

Coordinate with Stores, Quality, Production, and Accounts for material receipt, inspection, GRN, and invoice verification.

Maintain vendor records, rate contracts, quotations, and a pending PO tracker.

Evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service.

Support cost reduction by exploring alternate sources and better commercial terms.

Prepare purchase MIS reports and maintain procurement documentation in ERP/Excel.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

Graduate in any discipline (B.E. / B.Com / BBA preferred).
