Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and technically skilled Printing Machine Operator with experience in printing, paper folding, and book binding operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing and post-press machinery, ensuring print quality, completing production targets, and handling book finishing work efficiently.

The candidate must be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Printing Machine Operation

- Operate printing machines as per production requirements.
- Set up the machine and adjust settings according to job specifications.
- Check print quality, colour consistency, registration, and alignment.
- Monitor paper feeding, ink levels, and machine performance.
- Identify printing defects and report technical issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain production quality and minimize paper and ink wastage.

2. Paper Folding Operations

- Operate paper folding machines for books, brochures, leaflets, and other printed materials.
- Set folding sizes and machine adjustments according to job requirements.
- Ensure proper folding, alignment, and sheet sequencing.
- Inspect folded sheets for defects and maintain quality standards.

3. Book Binding & Finishing Work

- Handle book binding and post-press finishing activities.
- Assist in gathering, collating, stitching, perfect binding,



and trimming of books, as applicable.
- Operate binding and cutting machines, where trained.
- Check page sequence, binding strength, finishing quality, and final dimensions.
- Ensure finished books are packed and prepared for dispatch.

4. Production & Maintenance

- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow production instructions and maintain job-wise records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete orders on time.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of printing and post-press machinery.
- Ability to identify printing, folding, and binding defects.
- Knowledge of paper handling, sheet alignment, and production quality checks.
- Willingness to work in rotational day and night shifts.
- Hardworking, punctual, and able to work in a team.
- ITI or relevant technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Schedule

- Day Shift: 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Night Shift: As per the company's rotational shift schedule.
- Shift Rotation: Employees may be assigned day or night shifts according to production requirements.
- Candidates must be comfortable with rotational shifts and night-shift duties.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Production output and achievement of daily targets.
- Printing, folding, and binding quality.
- Reduction in paper wastage and production rejection.
- Machine efficiency and downtime control.
- Timely completion of production orders.
- Compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
