- Observe system dashboards, consoles, and logs continuously to track performance, catch errors, and watch over automated or scheduled jobs. • Batch Processing & Workloads: Start, stop, and manage batch processing jobs, nightly updates, and routine operational routines according to established production schedules. • Data Backups & Security: Run regular data backup procedures, verify backup logs, and follow data security and access protocols to prevent information loss. • Troubleshooting & Error Recovery: Identify, diagnose, and resolve file, hardware, or software errors, and escalate complex technical problems to IT support or systems analysts.
