About the Opportunity

We are looking for a qualified and passionate medical professional to join the founding team of a pregnancy and maternal wellness venture as a Co-Founder.

The vision is to build a trusted platform that supports women and families throughout pregnancy and the transition into parenthood through reliable medical information, educational resources, emotional wellbeing support, and carefully developed digital experiences.

We want to create a platform that goes beyond generic pregnancy content by combining credible medical knowledge, practical guidance, and an understanding of the experiences of expecting mothers and their families.

As the Co-Founder, you will work closely with the founder to shape the product, establish its clinical direction, guide the development of health-related content, and help build relationships with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the creation of a healthcare-focused venture from the ground up, with meaningful involvement in product development, clinical strategy, and long-term business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medical & Clinical Strategy

- Help define the medical vision and clinical direction of the platform.
- Identify the most important information and support needs of women during pregnancy and early parenthood.
- Establish principles for producing accurate, evidence-based pregnancy and maternal health content.
- Help identify appropriate medical topics, educational resources, and potential digital health services.
- Review health-related concepts for scientific accuracy and clinical relevance.
- Identify areas where specialist consultation or additional medical expertise is required.
- Help establish appropriate boundaries between educational information and personalised medical advice.

2. Product Development & Strategy

- Work with the founder to define the platform's vision, features, and roadmap.
- Identify problems faced by expecting mothers, partners, and families that the platform could address.
- Translate clinical knowledge into useful product features and educational experiences.
- Help prioritise features based on user needs, clinical relevance, feasibility, and safety.
- Contribute to the development of pregnancy tracking resources, educational tools, wellbeing features, and other relevant digital offerings.
- Participate in product testing and evaluate feedback from users and healthcare professionals.
- Help ensure that product decisions reflect responsible clinical practices.

3. Medical Content & Research

- Develop and review articles, guides, FAQs, and educational resources on pregnancy and maternal health.
- Explain medical topics in clear, accessible language.




- Review content related to pregnancy stages, antenatal care, maternal wellbeing, warning signs, and preparation for childbirth.
- Help establish editorial guidelines, medical review processes, and reliable sourcing standards.
- Identify emerging research and relevant clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to educational programmes and resources for expecting parents.
- Ensure that medical information is appropriately qualified and does not make unsupported claims.

4. Maternal Wellbeing & Holistic Support

- Help evaluate responsible approaches to pregnancy-related emotional wellbeing and stress management.
- Advise on the appropriate presentation of pregnancy yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation content.
- Identify when users should be directed to qualified healthcare professionals for further assessment.
- Help develop educational resources for partners and families supporting pregnant women.
- Contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and informational needs of expecting parents.

5. Healthcare Partnerships

- Build relationships with obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, psychologists, nutrition professionals, and other relevant specialists.
- Explore collaborations with clinics, hospitals, healthcare educators, and professional communities.
- Help establish a network of qualified contributors and medical reviewers.
- Identify opportunities for expert-led sessions, educational programmes, and professional collaborations.
- Support the development of appropriate clinical governance and content review processes.

6. Business & Venture Development

- Work with the founder to shape the business model and long-term strategy.
- Identify opportunities for sustainable revenue through appropriate educational resources, digital services, partnerships, or subscriptions.
- Contribute to market research and understanding the needs of the target audience.
- Help define the platform's positioning and differentiation.
- Participate in strategic decisions about growth, partnerships, and new offerings.
- Contribute to building a trusted, responsible, and sustainable maternal wellness brand.

7. Founding Team Collaboration

- Take ownership of agreed clinical and strategic responsibilities.
- Participate in product planning and important business decisions.
- Collaborate with the founder and other team members across content, marketing, technology, and operations.
- Help establish quality standards and processes as the platform grows.
- Contribute consistently to the long-term development of the venture.

Mandatory Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognised medical institution.




- Valid registration with the relevant medical council in India, where applicable.
- Genuine interest in maternal health, pregnancy education, women's health, or digital healthcare.
- Ability to evaluate medical information critically and communicate it accurately.
- Strong communication and team-oriented skills.
- Willingness to contribute to product development and strategic decisions beyond conventional clinical responsibilities.
- Comfort with the current equity-based, no-salary arrangement.

Preferred Qualifications

- MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or a relevant specialisation.
- Fellowship or additional training in maternal and fetal medicine.
- Clinical experience caring for pregnant women or working in women's health.
- Experience in medical education, clinical research, public health, or healthcare content.
- Interest in digital health, health technology, or healthcare entrepreneurship.
- Experience writing or reviewing medical articles, patient education resources, or clinical guidelines.
- Existing relationships with healthcare professionals or relevant institutions.

Doctors with other relevant specialisations may also be considered if they can demonstrate a strong fit with the platform's clinical direction.

Compensation & Equity

The equity arrangement, vesting conditions, decision-making responsibilities, and intellectual property terms will be documented formally and agreed upon by both parties.
