- Protecting people and property: Security officers ensure the safety of people, visitors, personnel, and assets. They patrol and secure the area, monitor CCTV cameras, and secure all exits, doors, and windows.
- Responding to emergencies: Security officers respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner. They also follow procedures for fire prevention, traffic control, and accident investigations.
- Reporting irregularities: Security officers report any suspicious behaviors and happenings. They also communicate any irregularities with management and keep an incident report record.
- Maintaining access control: Security officers authorize entrance of people and vehicles, and check visitors in and out of the area.
- Escorting visitors: Security officers escort visitors around the premises.
