Job Summary

SRM Global Hospitals is looking for a dedicated and responsible Physician Assistant for the Orthopaedics Department. The candidate will assist orthopaedic consultants in patient care, clinical assessments, treatment coordination, and day-to-day departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist orthopaedic consultants during patient consultations, clinical examinations, and procedures.
- Obtain and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and clinical findings.
- Assist in evaluating patients with fractures, joint disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and other orthopaedic conditions.
- Coordinate patient care, investigations, follow-ups, and treatment plans as advised by the consultant.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Support inpatient and outpatient care, including pre-operative and post-operative patient monitoring.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients regarding prescribed treatment plans, follow-up visits,



and post-treatment care under the consultant’s guidance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Physician Assistant is mandatory.

Experience

- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Relevant experience in Orthopaedics or a hospital setting will be an advantage.
