Job Title: Transportation & Logistics Operations Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and well-organized Transportation & Logistics professional to manage shipment planning, transportation scheduling, warehouse coordination, and delivery operations. The candidate will ensure the timely and safe movement of goods, maintain accurate logistics records, control transportation costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the movement of goods from production facilities to warehouses, distribution points, and end customers.
- Prepare and manage daily and weekly transportation schedules and delivery routes.
- Monitor shipment progress and track orders using barcode systems, tracking software, and other logistics management tools.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage, loading, unloading, and distribution of products.
- Monitor transportation expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate shipping documents, delivery records, vehicle logs, and order completion reports.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Evaluate transportation options and recommend cost-effective shipping methods and route improvements.
- Conduct routine safety checks of vehicles, machinery, and transportation equipment.
- Arrange employee training on equipment handling, workplace safety, and the safe handling of hazardous materials, where applicable.




- Maintain updated records of vehicles, driver schedules, shipment details, and delivery performance.
- Ensure all transportation and logistics activities comply with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in transportation laws, safety guidelines, and logistics best practices.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate with relevant teams to implement timely corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations is required.
- Good understanding of shipment planning, route scheduling, and delivery coordination.
- Familiarity with shipment tracking systems, logistics software, and transportation documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple operational activities.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety, maintenance coordination, and transportation compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, vendors, and internal departments.
