Vice President – Education & Growth

WE Excel is seeking a strategicVice President –Education & Growth to spearhead our overarching EdTech portfolio, scaling our footprint across institutional learning, skilling ecosystems, and large-scale government education mandates.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, this leader will act as the principal architect of our digital education vision. The role demands a rare hybrid of deep techno-functional expertise and domain mastery—bridging complex education frameworks (LMS, SIS, ERP, and AI-enabled learning models) with elite public-sector and private institutional execution.

Key Executive Responsibilities

1. EdTech Strategy & Product Architecture

- Vision & Portfolio Scaling: Define and execute the comprehensive product and technology roadmap across K-12, higher education, and vocational skilling ecosystems.

- Next-Gen Learning Innovations: Pioneer the integration of AI/ML, Generative AI, analytics, and intelligent automation to revolutionize learning outcomes, assessment models, and administrative efficiency.

- Platform Modernization: Oversee the evolution of enterprise learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and digital campus infrastructure.

2. Techno-Functional Leadership & Solution Governance

- Stakeholder Bridge: Serve as the definitive anchor between educational/institutional stakeholders and internal engineering, product, UI/UX, and QA teams.

- Architecture & Delivery Oversight: Guide product specifications, system integration, API frameworks, and data governance, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.

- Execution Excellence: Institute rigorous project governance to enforce strict alignment with quality gates, security standards, and delivery milestones.

Institutional Engagement & Government Relations

- Public Sector Leadership: Lead high-stakes technology initiatives for government education departments, public universities, examination boards, and e-Governance bodies.

- RFP & Tender Mastery: Oversee the translation of complex RFPs, tenders, and Statements of Work (SOWs) into winning, high-value technical proposals and architecture designs.

- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate deep-rooted relationships with key education policymakers, academic leaders, and strategic technology partners.

4. Commercial Growth & Business Development

- Market Expansion: Identify high-yield commercial opportunities within the domestic and international EdTech landscape.

- Pre-Sales Leadership: Champion complex solutioning, client pitches, executive demonstrations, and commercial negotiations to accelerate portfolio growth.

Core Competency Matrix

- Domain Expertise: Education ecosystem dynamics, e-Governance, institutional workflows, and public sector compliance.

- Technology Fluency: EdTech platforms (LMS/SIS), enterprise ERP integrations, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML learning analytics, and contemporary APIs.

- Executive Acumen: Strategic leadership, government stakeholder management, large-scale program execution, and business development.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership spanning EdTech, digital transformation, IT consulting, or large-scale enterprise technology.

- Domain Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering multi-million-dollar technology projects within educational institutions or government departments.

- Education: Master’s degree in education, Technology, Business Administration (MBA/PGDM), or a relevant technical discipline from a premier institution.
