Production Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to manage daily production activities in our MEMU and Door Manufacturing division. The candidate will be responsible for production planning and monitoring, maintaining 5S standards on the shop floor, preparing production reports, and ensuring smooth execution of daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth and timely manufacturing operations.
- Maintain 5S standards, housekeeping, and discipline on the shop floor.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports and other production-related documentation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing and assembly.
- Prepare daily shop-floor production plans in accordance with the master production plan.
- Coordinate with shop-floor personnel to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor production progress and identify operational issues that may affect productivity or quality.
- Ensure adherence to established production processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.




- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of materials and smooth workflow.
- Maintain production records and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of engineering drawing reading and interpretation.
- Understanding of machine shop operations and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of production planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Familiarity with 5S practices and shop-floor management.
- Positive coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel and production documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in fabrication, assembly, machine shop operations, or industrial manufacturing will be preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
