Job Description: Café Manager / Café Head

Job Summary

Toy Joy Tales is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Café Manager / Café Head to oversee daily café operations, manage staff, ensure food quality and hygiene, control costs, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the café and ensure smooth functioning.

Supervise café staff, including chefs, kitchen staff, and service personnel.

Ensure food quality, presentation, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.

Monitor inventory, stock levels, procurement, and wastage control.

Manage sales, billing, cash handling, and daily operational reports.

Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, repeat visits, and café revenue.

Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service-related issues professionally.

Monitor operating expenses, food costs, and staff productivity.

Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the café, kitchen, equipment, and dining areas.





Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of ingredients and other supplies.

Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with the Toy Joy Tales team to maintain a welcoming, family-friendly workplace.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

5–8 years of relevant experience in café, restaurant, or food service operations.

Strong team management, customer service, and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, inventory management, and cost control.

Basic understanding of sales reports, billing systems, and operational budgeting.
