About the role
We are building an accelerator platform for large-scale deployment, and we are looking for an engineer to own its production-readiness layer. You will make sure our drivers, firmware, management interfaces, software supply chain, containers, access controls and update mechanisms meet the security and operational bar for shared, multi-tenant clusters.
You will decide whether the platform is protected, stable and operable at scale, and then build the processes and infrastructure that keep it that way.
What you will do
Security & compliance
- Review and harden drivers, firmware and management interfaces for production deployment
- Design and implement workload isolation: device-memory clearing between jobs, privilege separation and container security boundaries
- Assess and improve vulnerability response, software supply chain integrity and update mechanisms
- Ensure the platform meets organizational security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent)
Toolchain security & release quality
- Partner with the Software Platform Architect on compiler back-end hardening, including security-focused fuzzing and code-generation edge cases
- Define and run release security gates for the toolchain and SDK, including signing, SBOM and dependency controls
Production operations
- Own the firmware release pipeline and build infrastructure, delivering reproducible, signed firmware builds across chip generations
- Define and implement monitoring, logging and health management for deployed accelerator clusters
- Support large-scale deployment: system provisioning, lifecycle management and firmware update orchestration
What we are looking for
- B.Tech/M.Tech or M.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 815 years of experience spanning at least two of: platform security engineering, compiler/toolchain production, and datacenter or cloud operations for accelerator or HPC infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of Linux security: kernel hardening, container isolation (Docker, Kubernetes), SELinux/AppArmor, secure boot and firmware signing
- Understanding of software supply chain security: SBOM, dependency management and CVE response
- Familiarity with HPC cluster management and monitoring: Slurm, Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and release engineering
- Experience with compiler toolchains (LLVM, GCC or custom back-ends), including regression frameworks and fuzz testing, is a plus
- Experience hardening GPU or accelerator driver and firmware stacks is strongly preferred
What makes you a fit
- You think across domains and are comfortable moving between security, toolchain quality and operations. This is not a pure security or pure DevOps role.
- You are process-oriented and can define and enforce release quality gates, security review checklists and incident response procedures.
- You write clearly and communicate well with hardware, software and operations teams.
