Job Description: Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily garment manufacturing operations, supervise workers, maintain quality standards, and ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities, including cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, and packing.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve daily targets.
- Manage tailors, helpers, machine operators, and other production staff.
- Ensure garment quality and minimise defects, rework, and material wastage.
- Coordinate with quality, stores, purchase, and dispatch departments.
- Monitor manpower productivity, machine performance, and production efficiency.
- Ensure the availability of fabrics, threads, and other accessories.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain records of output, rejections, and wastage.




- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of customer orders.
- Maintain discipline, workplace safety, and housekeeping on the production floor.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in garment or textile manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing processes.
- Solid production planning and manpower management skills.
- Ability to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of quality control, inventory management, and production reporting.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Diploma or degree in Garment Manufacturing, Textile Technology, or a related field is preferred.
