Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Pre-Sales Engineer who can combine strong AutoCAD/design knowledge with technical sales and customer coordination. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, preparing technical drawings and proposals, supporting estimation/BOQ activities, and providing technical assistance to the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and modify AutoCAD 2D drawings, layouts, and technical designs as per project requirements.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, material take-off, cost estimates, quotations, and technical proposals.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team during client discussions and meetings.
- Coordinate with customers, Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, and Project teams.
- Conduct technical discussions with clients and understand project requirements.
- Prepare product presentations, technical documents, and proposal submissions.
- Review drawings and ensure technical feasibility before submitting quotations.
- Support the team in RFQ/RFP/tender preparation and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical details, product specifications, and pricing.




- Suggest suitable and cost-effective technical solutions based on customer requirements.
- Handle revisions based on client feedback and maintain proper documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions whenever required.
- Provide pre-sales technical support until order finalization.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and technical drawing interpretation.
- Experience in Pre-Sales / Technical Sales / Estimation / Design.
- Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, costing, and material calculations.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD, Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Estimation, or Engineering.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates from Engineering / Manufacturing / Fabrication / Construction / Industrial Products background will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable interacting with clients and handling technical discussions.
- Strong combination of AutoCAD + Technical Sales + Estimation skills is preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
