Indus Motors is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automobile Mechanic to join our NEXA Service Centre. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Maruti Suzuki NEXA vehicles while ensuring high standards of service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, brakes, suspension, clutch, and transmission systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and performance.
- Conduct vehicle checks and road tests after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Update job cards and maintain accurate service records.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines, NEXA service standards, and workshop safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and senior technicians regarding repair requirements.
- Complete assigned jobs within the stipulated time while maintaining service quality.
- Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop area clean and organized.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience as an Automobile Mechanic.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and basic automotive knowledge may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot vehicle faults.
- Willingness to learn and follow manufacturer service procedures.
- Positive teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
