We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to manage our end-to-end product sourcing and purchase operations. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying quality suppliers, managing purchase orders, and tracking inventory and product histories. Candidates with strong expertise in fabrics, textiles, and handloom traditions will be strongly preferred.

Supplier Sourcing & Vendor Management

- Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers and artisan clusters based on product requirements, quality standards, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with weavers, manufacturers, and vendor partners.

Purchase Order (PO) Management

- Draft, issue, and track Purchase Orders from initial issuance to final delivery.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, lead times, and payment details to ensure optimal value and efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve discrepancies or delay issues.

Product & Inventory Tracking

- Maintain comprehensive records and product history databases (specifications, fabric composition, supplier details, costs, and batch logs).




- Monitor shipment status and track inventory movements from production through delivery.

Quality Control & Material Evaluation

- Leverage deep knowledge of fabric types, weaves, and handloom techniques to assess material quality and authenticity.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming samples and production batches against established specifications.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Experience: Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchase management, preferably within the textile, apparel, or fashion industry.
- Domain Expertise: Robust background or working knowledge of fabrics, weave structures, and handloom processes is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in purchase management tools or advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets. Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Preference: Degree/Diploma in Textile Design Fashion Management Sourcing or a related field

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
