Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager – Biological to oversee quality assurance, quality control, and compliance for our biological products. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of microbiology, biological product testing, quality management systems, and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments for biological products.
- Ensure the quality of biofertilizers, biopesticides, and other biological agricultural products.
- Supervise testing of raw materials (RM), semi-finished goods (SFG), in-process samples, and finished products.
- Monitor microbial testing, CFU count, contamination control, culture maintenance, and product stability.
- Ensure proper laboratory practices, SOP implementation, documentation, and record maintenance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, deviations, and non-conformities, and implement CAPA.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FCO requirements, product specifications, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits and inspections.
- Monitor batch quality, production processes,



and product release in coordination with Production and R&D; teams.
- Lead, train, and supervise the QA/QC team and laboratory staff.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product quality and laboratory performance.

Required Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related biological science discipline.
- Relevant experience in biological products, biofertilizers, biopesticides, or microbial manufacturing.
- Candidates with experience in fertilizer or agrochemical manufacturing and relevant biological quality control exposure may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of biological product quality testing and microbiological analysis.
- Expertise in CFU testing, microbial contamination control, and culture handling.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, QMS, SOPs, CAPA, and audit management.
- Understanding of batch records, product specifications, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and team-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, R&D;, and Regulatory Affairs teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 7–14 years of relevant experience in biological manufacturing or biological product quality management.
- Experience managing a QA/QC team in a biofertilizer, biopesticide, or microbial products manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding of biological laboratory operations, quality documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in microbial product testing and quality management will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
