We are looking for an Architectural Draftsman / Technical Drawing Assistant who can support our design team in translating architectural concepts into accurate, detailed and construction-ready drawings.

About the role:

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing 2D architectural drawings, working drawings, construction details and documentation based on the design direction provided by the Architect / Design Head.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good knowledge of architectural drafting and the ability to understand drawings, dimensions, materials and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings from design concepts.
- Prepare working drawings and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects.

Develop architectural details including:

- Flooring layouts
- False ceiling layouts
- Door & window details
- Staircase details
- Toilet details
- Kitchen details
- Furniture layouts
- Wall elevations
- Joinery details
- Material and finish details
- Assist in preparing interior working drawings and technical documentation.
- Convert sketches, marked-up drawings and design instructions into precise CAD drawings.
- Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations and sheet formatting.
- Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural,



MEP and interior requirements.
- Revise drawings based on comments from the Architect / Design Head.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Assist the design team in preparing drawing sets for client presentations and site execution.
- Review drawings for basic dimensional and coordination errors before issue.
- Coordinate with the project/site team whenever required to clarify technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings are issued within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, sections and elevations.
- Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, levels and annotations.
- Understanding of basic building construction and architectural detailing.
- Ability to work accurately with minimal errors.
- Good organisational and file-management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:

- SketchUp
- Revit
- Photoshop
- Enscape / Lumion
- Basic interior detailing
- Quantity take-offs / BOQ
- Site measurement and documentation

Qualification & Experience

Education: Diploma / B.Arch / equivalent qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
