We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to monitor stock levels, analyze demand, and coordinate order placement to ensure optimal inventory availability. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, preventing stock shortages and overstocking, and supporting timely purchasing decisions based on stock movement and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track stock movement, consumption patterns, and demand trends.
- Identify rapid-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Determine reorder levels and minimum/maximum stock quantities.
- Recommend purchase orders based on current stock, forecasted demand, and lead times.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Warehouse,
and Operations teams for timely replenishment.
- Ensure essential items are available while avoiding excess inventory.
- Maintain stock reports and provide regular inventory updates to management.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and follow up on pending orders.
- Use Excel, ERP, or inventory management software to track and analyze stock.
