Position: Sr. Production Planning Executive (SCM)

Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Location: Por GIDC, Vadodara.

Educational Qualification: BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Certifications (one or more certifications preferred) in ERP/SAP, Advanced Excel or Lean Six Sigma.

Experience Required: 3 – 5 Years

Salary: up to 60,000 CTC per month

Reports to: Director

Job Purpose

To manage and optimize supply chain planning and coordination across internal departments and vendors, ensuring efficient material flow, optimum inventory levels, and timely delivery.

Job Profile / Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production, material, and dispatch plans based on customer requirements and capacity.
- Plan raw material, inventory, and manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch, and outsource vendors for smooth execution of plans.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production.
- Monitor production progress, order status, inventory levels, and OTD performance.
- Review planning and SCM KPIs and identify deviations from the plan.
- Take corrective actions for production delays, material shortages, and inventory issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, inventory turnover,



and supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reviews with the Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch department team members & monitor their performance.

Technical Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of planning processes (Purchase, Production, Dispatch)
- Understanding of packing processes and supply chain flow
- Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, ERP, etc.)

Soft Skills Required

- Proactive, presentation skills, effective communication, time management skills.
- Root cause analysis, analytical & systematic problem solving (SPS) skill, continue improvement.
- Fluency in Spoken English.

Valuable to have:

- Production Planning & Control (PPC) in a forging environment.

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
