KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coral Nursery Management: Build, clean, and maintain land-based or ocean-based coral nurseries, including water-quality systems, filtration, and plumbing

Propagation & Fragmenting: Harvest, fragment, and propagate coral species (such as quick-growing branching corals) using specialized techniques.

Outplanting & Transplantation: Dive to attach coral fragments onto natural reefs or artificial reef structures

Reef Monitoring & Data Collection: Conduct SCUBA or freediving surveys to track coral growth rates, survival, bleaching levels, and biodiversity

Mapping & Technology: Use photogrammetry and underwater photography to build 2D maps and 3D models of restoration sites

Reporting & Education: Write impact reports, analyze long-term data,



and engage with local communities or public outreach programs

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Education: Masters Degree in marine biology, marine science, ecology, or a related field

Certifications: Advanced Open Water SCUBA certification, Rescue Diver credentials, or commercial/scientific diving competence, plus freediving capability.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, lift gear, and work long hours in open water

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka
