An MCR (Master Control Room) Executive manages, monitors, and operates broadcast transmission systems to ensure smooth, high-quality, and uninterrupted television or digital channel output.Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Channel and Transmission Monitoring: Monitor live broadcast signals, transmission paths, and overall signal quality throughout the shift.
- Playout and Automation Operations: Operate and manage playout automation systems (such as Harris, GV iTX, or Karthavya Automation).
- Switching Systems: Work with MCR switching and routing systems (including GV iS-750, Icon Master, GV Masterpiece, and ROSS MC1).
- On-Air Management: Oversee scheduled programming, live events, commercial ad breaks, and secondary/tertiary on-air events.
- Fault Diagnosis and Resolution: Promptly detect, diagnose, and fix transmission faults, hardware glitches,



or signal degradation.
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Execute backup playout paths and emergency recovery protocols during technical outages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Engineering, Broadcast IT, Production Control Room (PCR), and Newsroom teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, IT, or Media Technology.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with broadcast automation software, routing switchers, SDI/IP infrastructure, and signal analyzers.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, calm demeanor under pressure, and transparent communication.
- Work Schedule: Readiness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
