Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and requirements through design briefs.
- Design new packaging solutions.
- Conceptualise product descriptions and design products using CAD/SolidWorks.
- Produce and test product prototypes.
- Research recent product ideas and methods.
- Improve existing products.
- Ensure compliance with customer packaging standards.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensure products are user-friendly and meet customer requirements.
- Write detailed value proposals and presentations.
- Find creative design solutions to problems.
- Work with sales and production teams to establish feasible designs.
- Do costing as per company format and client requirements.
Skills & Attributes Required
- Creative and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a must.
- Good understanding of design concepts and feasibility of usage.
- Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Product Design or a similar field.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
