Job Description

- To keep the motivational standards of team high at all times.
- To plan & monitor deployment of GDA’s & Housekeeping staff.
- To ensure quality standards of cleanliness of entire premises.
- To ensure grooming & hygiene standards of all staff.
- To indent and ensure availability of linen, uniforms, stationary and other non-medical supplies.
- To maintain inventory of linen, uniforms, other supplies and discards.
- To ensure adherence to linen / uniform specifications.
- To observe all rules and procedures in respect of Hygiene, Health and Safety and Fire Prevention.
- To responsible for: Customer amenities, Interior decoration, Laundry / Linen,



Pest control and Waste Management.
- To allocate duties to Housekeeping staff & GDA’s.
- To inspect and audit Vendors to ensure standards of hygiene, cleanliness & maintenance are met.
- To provide Training to all Housekeeping staff & GDA’s.
- To make Budgets for Housekeeping Dept.
- To track Expenses and Control Costs.
- To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
- To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
- To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
- To comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
- To Comply with patient safety policy
- To ensure secure utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.
