JOB DESCRIPTION – PLC Programmer – Electrical Panel Wiring & Team Handling

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and industrial automation equipment.
- Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, or Allen-Bradley.
- Prepare, read, and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control panel drawings.
- Perform electrical panel wiring, component installation, cable routing, and termination.
- Handle PLC programming, HMI configuration, and basic SCADA integration.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, PLC inputs/outputs, sensors, relays, contactors, and motor control systems.
- Supervise and coordinate panel wiring technicians and electrical team members.
- Allocate daily work to team members and monitor work progress.
- Ensure panel wiring and electrical connections are completed according to drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct panel testing, I/O checking, machine commissioning, and functional testing.




- Coordinate with design, mechanical, assembly, and production teams to complete projects on time.
- Identify electrical faults and implement corrective actions during installation and commissioning.
- Maintain electrical drawings, PLC programs, testing reports, and project documentation.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and team members.

Required Skills

- PLC programming and troubleshooting.
