About the Role
We are hiring a Factory Manager for John Galt International — a 45-year-old heavy diversified fabrication company based in Badlapur, Dist. Thane. The company is a national award-winning Defence Equipment Supplier registered directly with all three armed forces, and also manufactures process equipment (storage tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, reactors) and structural equipment (girders, pre-fabricated structures, mining equipment). The company operates 3 units totalling 15,000 sq. metres of fabrication space and is TQM certified. Job Code: JGI/FM | Reporting to: Joint CEO | Working Days: Monday–Saturday | Timings: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities: • Manage overall production of structural and process equipment • Oversee planning, production, and quality across all units • Ensure timeliness of all jobs and adherence to specifications • Manage 6–8 contractors,
each with teams of 20–25 people • Coordinate fabrication and machining activities • Oversee 6 production engineers, 6 QA/QC engineers, Stores and support functions • Ensure work is completed on time and as per specs Required Candidate Profile: • 10–15 years of factory fabrication experience • Must be Badlapur (East) based or willing to relocate • Prior experience in structural fabrication AND/OR process equipment fabrication • B.E., Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Good attitude, crisis management skills, and ability to assure production • Willingness to work 6 days a week (Sunday off)
