Job Summary

We are looking for a Freelance Structural Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in structural design, structural analysis, and structural calculations. The candidate will be engaged on a remote, call-off basis, depending on project requirements, and will be responsible for carrying out structural analysis, design calculations, and providing technical support for construction and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis and design for civil/structural projects.
- Prepare and review structural design calculations.
- Analyse structural elements for load, strength, stability, and serviceability.
- Prepare structural design reports, calculation sheets, and technical documentation.
- Review structural drawings and ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project teams as required.
- Identify structural issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Provide technical support during the execution/construction stage when required.
- Review and verify structural calculations prepared for projects.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Structural Analysis and Structural Design.
- Good understanding of structural calculations and load calculations.




- Knowledge of RCC and steel structures.
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and structural design standards.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate design calculation reports.
- Proficiency in relevant structural design software is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility

- MTech in Structural Engineering is required.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in structural design, structural analysis, and structural calculations.
- Experience working with a Civil Engineering Firm, Structural Consultancy, or Construction Company.
- Candidates with practical experience in structural design and project-based consulting will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently on assigned structural engineering tasks.

Engagement

This is a freelance, remote, call-off basis position. The selected candidate will be engaged as and when required based on project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for completing assigned structural analysis, design calculations, and related technical documentation within the agreed timelines.

The engagement will be based on the specific project requirements and scope of work, and the candidate may be contacted whenever structural engineering support is required.

Preferred: Candidates who are available for remote work and online coordination meetings as required.
