Help Hyderabad's pet parents find us Cuddle Paws Co is growing, and more pet parents in Hyderabad are searching online for food, toys and supplies for their pets. We want them to find us first. That depends on two things: trusted websites linking to us, and accurate business listings everywhere people search. We're hiring a part time specialist to build both, carefully and with no shortcuts. About Cuddle Paws Co Cuddle Paws Co is a pet store in Hyderabad that sells pet food, accessories and care products online at cuddle-paws.in and to local customers. We're a small team that cares about pets and the people who look after them. You'll work directly with the owner, and you'll be able to see how your work affects our search rankings and sales. About the role This is a hands-on role. You'll find link opportunities, do the outreach, and keep careful records. After 6 months, we'd like Cuddle Paws Co listed accurately on every major directory and the main pet directories, with the same business details on each. We'd also like a steady flow of relevant backlinks from pet, lifestyle and Hyderabad local websites, and a clear monthly report showing what was built, what's live and what changed in our rankings. To be honest about the hard part: outreach means sending a lot of emails, and most won't get a reply. Citation work is detailed and repetitive. You'll do well here if you're organised, patient and enjoy seeing small wins add up. What you'll do Local citations and listings Build our listings on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Justdial, Sulekha, Facebook and other major Indian directories, plus pet-specific directories. Audit existing listings and fix or merge duplicates, so our name, address, phone number and opening hours match everywhere. Keep our Google Business Profile up to date: categories, products, photos and regular posts. Backlink building (white-hat only) Research and contact relevant websites: pet bloggers, vets,

groomers, trainers, shelters and rescues, Hyderabad lifestyle and city blogs, and local news sites. Earn links through guest posts, resource pages, partnerships, product reviews, broken-link replacement and journalist request platforms. Write personal outreach emails that people want to answer, not copy-paste templates. Work with us on content worth linking to, such as pet-care guides and local pet-friendly lists. Tracking and reporting Keep a link and citation tracker in Google Sheets with the URL, domain rating, anchor text, status and the date each link went live. Monitor our backlink profile, flag lost or spammy links, and suggest fixes. Send a short monthly report covering what was built, outreach response rates, and changes in referral traffic and local rankings. What we're looking for Required At least 1 year of experience building backlinks or local citations, for clients, an employer or your own sites. At least 3 live links or listings you built that you can show us. Experience with at least one SEO tool: Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz or Ubersuggest. Experience creating or managing Google Business Profile listings. Clear written English for outreach emails. Comfort working in Google Sheets and tracking your own work. Nice to have Telugu or Hindi, for outreach to local Hyderabad websites and businesses. Experience with e-commerce or Shopify stores. Experience in the pet, veterinary or local retail space. Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Experience with digital PR or journalist request platforms. What we won't do: no private blog networks (PBNs), no bulk paid links, no link farms and no automated directory blasts. If that's how you usually work, this role isn't a fit. What we offer Flexible, remote, part-time hours that you plan around your week. Direct access to the owner, with quick decisions and no layers of approval.
