Job Vacancy: Assistant Professor – MBA Department

TYS University invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in the MBA Department.

1. Job Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures in MBA subjects according to the university curriculum.
- Teach subjects related to Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, and other relevant specializations.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations, and student evaluations.
- Guide students in projects, case studies, internships, and presentations.
- Support research activities, publications, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and other departmental documentation.
- Assist in student mentoring, placement activities, and overall departmental development.

2. Educational Qualifications

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in a relevant specialization from a recognized university.
- Minimum 55% marks at the postgraduate level, subject to applicable UGC norms.
- Ph.D. in Management or a relevant discipline will be preferred.
- NET/SET qualification will be preferred, wherever applicable under the relevant regulations.

4. Experience Required

- Candidates with 2–5 years of teaching experience in MBA/management programs will be preferred.
- Experience in universities, colleges, or reputed management institutions will be an advantage.
- Research publications, industry experience, consultancy, and academic administration experience will be desirable.

6. Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: Rs.32,000–Rs.45,000 per month

The salary will be determined based on the candidate's educational qualifications, teaching experience, subject specialization, research profile, and interview performance.
