Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fabric & Power BI professional with 15+ years of experience in end-to-end BI solution delivery, strong customer engagement skills, and expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure data services. The candidate must have handled at least 8 Power BI and 1 Fabric projects and led the design and migration of semantic data models and reports.

What You’ll Do

- Customer & Architecture
- Proven experience collaborating with Business & IT teams on requirement gathering and solution design.
- Experience preparing architecture blueprints.
- Independently created HLDs and LLDs for BI solutions including data models and reports.
- Microsoft Fabrics
- Hands-on experience building reporting solutions using Power BI on Microsoft Fabric
- Good to have experience working with Fabric Copilots to accelerate data modeling, report generation
- Worked with Direct Lake, One Lake, and Lakehouse to design and manage scalable data architectures.
- Built and orchestrated end-to-end data pipelines using Fabric Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks
- Power BI
- Solid expertise in Power BI Pro, Premium, and Paginated reports.
- Advanced use of DAX, Power Query, and M language
- Proficient with Dataflows, Incremental Refresh, RLS, and Data Modeling.
- Led multiple report migrations from legacy BI platforms to Power BI.

- Hands-on experience working with ETL/ELT solutions using ADF or Synapse or SSIS or any other industry standard ETL/ELT Tools
- Hands-on experience in designing gold layer and data models for consumption by reports and downstream applications
- Leverage Generative AI tools and Copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric Copilot, M365 Copilot)



to accelerate code development, enhance data insights, and streamline documentation.
- Applied Gen AI capabilities in tasks such as pipeline generation, DAX and SQL authoring, metadata extraction, and documentation automation.
- Successfully led multiple Data Modernization initiatives leveraging Azure and Databricks.

Must-Have Skills

- Around 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Fabric (Power BI) on at least 1customer Project
- Recent 8+ years of experience in Power BI with experience in working on at least 7+ Projects
- 7+ years of experience working on designing reporting solutions
- 8+ years of experience working with Business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver BI solutions.
- 4+ Yrs experience working with ETl/ELT solutions using Databricks or ADF/Synapse at least 4 projects
- Leverage Generative AI tools and Copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric Copilot, M365 Copilot) to accelerate code development, enhance data insights, and streamline documentation.
- Applied Gen AI capabilities in tasks such as pipeline generation, DAX and SQL authoring, metadata extraction, and documentation automation.
- Successfully led multiple Data Modernization initiatives leveraging Azure and Databricks.
