Job Summary

Elewayte is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and target-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic counselling, educational sales, or the EdTech industry. Candidates with exposure to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) courses or banking-related career programs will be preferred.

The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, understanding their career goals, explaining relevant training programs, and guiding them through the admission and enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact prospective students through phone calls, leads, and follow-ups.
- Counsel students regarding BFSI training programs, banking courses, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations.
- Explain course details, fees, duration, enrollment procedures, and placement assistance.
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into enrollments.
- Achieve assigned admission, sales, and enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate lead details, student information, and follow-up records in the CRM.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment process.




- Stay updated on banking and financial services career opportunities and relevant training programs.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, or a related role.
- Experience in EdTech is preferred.
- Exposure to BFSI, banking courses, financial services training, or banking career programs is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
- Strong follow-up, lead management, and conversion abilities.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with prior experience selling educational courses or training programs.
- Candidates comfortable with outbound calling and prospective-student counselling.
- Candidates with a positive attitude, a learner's mindset, and a strong focus on achieving targets.
- Candidates interested in helping students build careers in banking and financial services.
