Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented Steward to join our team at Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining restaurant hygiene, and ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and explain food items, ingredients, and recommendations to guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and ensure timely service.
- Maintain table setup, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation standards.
- Clear tables and reset them promptly for incoming guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other service team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely and escalate issues to the supervisor when required.
- Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and restaurant service standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cutlery polishing and service station preparation.




- Follow company policies, grooming standards, and operational procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of restaurant service etiquette is an advantage.
- Previous experience in fine dining or premium restaurants is preferred.

Educational Qualification

- Minimum: 10th / 12th pass preferred.
- Hospitality or hotel management qualification is an advantage.

Working Conditions

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Comfortable working in a premium dining environment.
- Must maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards.
