Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project estimation, quantity take-offs, cost planning, billing, and cost control activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contractor billing, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with site engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and other construction works.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and rate analyses for construction projects.
- Handle client billing, contractor bills, and subcontractor payment certifications.
- Verify contractor bills against actual site measurements and completed work.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and expenses to ensure budget compliance.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and procurement teams.
- Track material requirements and identify opportunities to minimize wastage.
- Prepare running account (RA) bills, measurement sheets, and final bills.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify quantity variations.
- Maintain records of project expenses, variations, and cost-related documentation.
- Assist in preparing cost comparison statements and variation claims.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of bills and reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills





- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction estimation.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and rate analysis.
- Experience in contractor billing, client billing, and measurement verification.
- Good understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of construction estimation and billing software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with site teams and manage multiple project requirements.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience in building construction and civil engineering projects will be preferred.
- Experience in RA billing, subcontractor bill verification, material reconciliation, and project cost control will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be capable of working independently and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate measurements and effective cost management.
