Location: Amrita Hospital, Kochi | Full time

Amrita Hospital, Kochi, invites applications from motivated and analytically skilled candidates for the position of Research Assistant in its Public Health/Digital Transformation unit.

The role involves contributing to multidisciplinary research at the intersection of public health, digital health innovation, clinical artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare implementation science, and sustainable community-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Scientific Writing & Publications: Draft and edit research manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, conduct literature reviews, and prepare evidence syntheses.
- Quantitative & Qualitative Research: Support statistical analyses, research data management, and mixed-methods studies using tools such as R, Python, SPSS, or Stata.
- Research Grants & Protocol Development: Assist in preparing grant proposals, research protocols, research ethics submissions, and coordinating multidisciplinary research projects.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Candidates with a postgraduate degree in any of the following disciplines, or a related field, are encouraged to apply:

* Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology, or Biostatistics

* Psychology, Sociology, or Social Sciences





* Economics or Health Informatics

* Data Science or other relevant disciplines

Candidates should demonstrate research aptitude, analytical and statistical skills, scientific writing proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Applicants need not have expertise in every research area. A strong academic foundation, willingness to learn, and commitment to rigorous research are valued.
