1. Job Purpose

To provide efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience while maintaining the hotel's service standards, hygiene, and operational procedures in line with CGH Earth's hospitality philosophy.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and available beverages, and assist guests with their selections.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages professionally, following established service standards and etiquette.
- Ensure tables, restaurant areas, service stations, and sideboards are clean, organised, and properly set up.
- Prepare the restaurant for service and complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
- Monitor guest requirements during service and respond promptly to requests, feedback, and complaints.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Follow established procedures for billing, payment handling,



and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Maintain appropriate grooming, personal hygiene, and professional conduct at all times.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, and service equipment carefully to minimise breakage and wastage.
- Participate in departmental briefings, training sessions, and service improvement initiatives.
- Support banquet, room service, and other F&B; operations whenever assigned.
- Uphold guest confidentiality and maintain a professional, courteous approach at all times.

3. Qualifications and Experience

- Hotel Management Degree or Diploma.
- Previous experience in food and beverage service will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

4. General Responsibilities

Adhere to CGH Earth's organisational values, policies, and service standards, and perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Pay: ₹18,494.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
