Your work profile

- Lead SAP Transportation Management (TM) workstreams across Greenfield, Brownfield, Selective Data Transition, implementation, rollout, and transformation programs.
- Gather business requirements and design transportation management solutions aligned with enterprise logistics, distribution, and supply chain strategies.
- Configure and deploy SAP TM capabilities including Transportation Planning & Optimization, Freight Order Management, Freight Settlement, Carrier Selection & Tendering, Charge Calculation, Transportation Execution, and Shipment Tracking.
- Design transportation network models, transportation lanes, transportation zones, route determination, carrier management frameworks, and freight planning processes.
- Drive logistics process standardization and transportation optimization initiatives across global supply chain operations.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, process assessments, solution design workshops, and business process transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve transportation efficiency, freight visibility, service levels, and logistics cost optimization.
- Lead integration design and implementation between SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP GTS, SAP Event Management, and third-party logistics platforms.
- Configure freight agreements, carrier contracts, transportation charges, rate management, settlement processes, and transportation execution workflows.




- Support master data design and governance activities including business partners, locations, transportation zones, resources, and carrier master data.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, forms, and custom developments.
- Support data migration, testing, deployment, cutover planning, go-live, and Hypercare activities.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business validation activities.
- Mentor junior consultants and support practice development, solution innovation, and capability-building initiatives.

Key Requirements

- 8-12+ years of SAP Supply Chain consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Proven experience leading SAP TM implementations across Greenfield, Brownfield, Selective Data Transition, and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in Transportation Planning & Optimization, Freight Order Management, Freight Settlement, Carrier Selection & Tendering, Charge Calculation, and Transportation Execution.
- Deep understanding of freight management processes, transportation network design, logistics execution, and supply chain operations.
- Experience configuring transportation lanes, transportation zones, carrier management, freight agreements, charge calculation, and settlement functionality.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment, distribution management,



and transportation operations processes.
- Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP GTS, SAP Event Management, and external transportation systems.
- Knowledge of transportation planning algorithms, carrier collaboration, freight visibility, and logistics cost optimization practices.
- Experience in data migration, master data governance, testing, cutover planning, deployment, and Hypercare support activities.
- Ability to lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution reviews, and business process transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Automotive, Logistics, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Distribution, or Supply Chain-intensive industries is highly desirable.
- Exposure to SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN), SAP Business Network for Logistics, and advanced transportation planning solutions will be an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) or SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain certification is preferred.
- SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP Logistics, or Supply Chain certifications will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and large-scale SAP transformation programs is desirable.
- Experience supporting global rollouts, multinational supply chain operations, and enterprise logistics transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
- Solid consulting, client-facing, and team leadership experience will be an added advantage.
