Production Supervisor

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor supports the Production Managers in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The Production Supervisor also plays a key role in leading production teams, monitoring plant performance, and driving continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

· Assign operators and technicians to specific workstations, and manage shift handovers smoothly.

· Supporting shift leadership and keeping lines running efficiently

· Maintaining quality, and enforcing safety.

· Supervising floor staff (operators, material handlers) and partnering with maintenance/quality teams.





· Allocate manpower across production units lead pre-shift huddles and ensure thorough shift-to-shift handoffs regarding output metrics, pending maintenance, and open issues.

· Partner with warehouse material handlers to ensure preforms, caps, packaging film, labels, and boxes are staged ahead of runs.

· Monitor raw material scrap rates, waste levels, and rework materials, logging data to minimize product loss.

Qualification

· 4-5 years of experience needed in related field preferred.

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.

· *Additional certifications in Production Management or Operations Management are preferred.

Willing to work in 2 shifts

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
