About the role
Sarahs Techno designs and manufactures food-processing machinery and equipment. We’re looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our fabrication team and help build high-quality stainless steel machines and components.
Responsibilities
- TIG weld stainless steel, mainly SS 304; SS 316 experience is an advantage.
- Fabricate machine parts, frames, vessels, tanks, and piping as per drawings and measurements.
- Prepare materials, carry out fit-up, and maintain accurate alignment before welding.
- Produce neat, strong welds with a clean finish suitable for food-processing equipment.
- Inspect completed work and correct defects when required.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Practical TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication skills.
- Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and take measurements.
- Knowledge of material preparation, fitting, and finishing.
- Careful, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in machinery or food-processing equipment fabrication is preferred.
Salary: Based on experience and skill.
