Job Summary

KPS Konvoy LLP is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Salesman to join our freight forwarding and logistics team. The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics sales, a solid ability to acquire new customers, and good relationships with exporters, importers, and other industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and approach new customers, including exporters, importers, manufacturers, and traders.
- Generate business leads and convert them into profitable shipment bookings.
- Promote sea freight, air freight, import/export logistics, and cross-country booking services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and follow up on customer enquiries.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing,



and new business opportunities.
- Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and follow-up records.
- Build long-term business relationships to generate repeat bookings and referrals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Good knowledge of sea freight, air freight, FCL, LCL, and import/export procedures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert prospects into customers.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in email communication and basic MS Office applications.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Salary & Benefits

- Monthly salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000, depending on experience and skills.
- Performance-based incentives after successful completion of the 3-month probation period.
