We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to support our Accounts and Finance team. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, financial record maintenance, data entry, invoice processing, and other accounting-related tasks while gaining practical experience in accounting and finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documents.
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Support bank reconciliation and account reconciliation activities.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS reports.
- Maintain files and documentation in an organized manner.
- Verify and track expenses, bills, and vendor payments.
- Support payroll and statutory compliance-related activities as required.
- Assist senior accountants with audits and other finance-related tasks.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), MBA (Finance), or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Tally, Excel, or other accounting software.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
