Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, performing load calculations, coordinating with other MEP disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, chilled water piping layouts, and ventilation drawings.
- Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and duct and pipe sizing.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and architectural teams.
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Attend coordination meetings and resolve design-related technical issues.




- Support site teams during installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design for MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, and mechanical services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
- Understanding of HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and duct sizing.
- Knowledge of relevant ASHRAE standards and applicable local building codes.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on commercial buildings, residential towers, hospitals, hotels, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and clash detection.
- Familiarity with HAP or other HVAC load calculation software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
